California native Caroline Kelly is a photographer with many and varied interests. She has worked as a photojournalist and has created layouts for interior design magazines. However, her artistic passion can be found in her keen eye for nature. Her father owned a small nursery and she spent much of her youth working in the family business. This knowledge and appreciation for plants and flowers has always been an influence on her photography. Over the years, she has created an impressive body of work. In recent years, Kelly has embraced new technologies and found her artistic expression in the merging of traditional film and contemporary digital photography. The results are striking yet simple imagery that celebrate the natural beauty of the plant world.
