Samuel Blanco
Samuel Blanco was born in 1969 in Barcelona, Spain. Blanco showed interest in art at a very early age and he soon began drawing and painting on his own. Later, Blanco worked at an Architecture and Interior Design Studio that specialized in the restoration of Historic Buildings in Spain.
He combined his interest in painting and architecture to eventually create unique and beautiful imagery. Blanco’s paintings are greatly inspired by his love for Mediterranean and Moorish cultures. He utilizes both traditional and contemporary techniques in his paintings, murals, frescoes, and Troupe l’oeils to capture and interpret the cultural influences that inspire him.
Blanco has participated in group and solo shows throughout Spain, France and Italy. His work is now also very well received in Galleries and Exhibitions throughout North America where he continues to gain new inspiration for his glorious oil painting.
