“My passion for artistic expression in various forms developed deep within me as a child when simple pencil and paper were my materials of choice. Years later, I was able to further refine my skills by getting a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Michigan, where I gained experience with traditional watercolor, various paints, photography, and digital art. I love every moment of my creative journey. My current work is a mixed-media combination of watercolor strokes, photography and digital techniques, with the end result being an expressive, emotional effect.
Art is more than just art. When placed in front of the right viewer within the right context, it can be a powerful tool for healing and comfort. It can turn a cold, sterile hospital into a warm therapeutic setting, or a bare home into a warm sanctuary.”
